Midwifery care pathology is taught with the aim to understand and comprehend disorders
during pregnancy. Planting character since the beginning of the school term is necessary in order
to establish moral individuals who manifest in honesty, intelligence, concern for teaching.
Teaching that was developed to provide a high learning achievement in students. Character is built
and developed through a process of lectures during one semester. This study aims to determine the
effect of learning midwifery care pathology based on character education on the student DIV
midwife. A quantitative approach used in this study. The population in this study were all students
of D IV Midwife Educator in STIKes husada Borneo. The sampling technique purposive sampling
and taken as many as 76 subjects. The results showed that the value of p <0.05. Conclusion. There
are significant differences between the study subjects based midwifery care pathology character
education to students.
