This research aims to know the influence of Cooperative Learning type Snowball
Throwing teaching method based on Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) to the creativity of
students in learning. This research was conducted in the learning process for students of Chemistry
Educations Program in Kalimantan Islamic University Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari
Banjarmasin at the second semester of the 2015/2016 school year. The purpose of this study was
to determine the effect of the application of cooperative learning model based Snowball Throwing
Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) to the creative abilities of students. This research was
conducted in a lecture to the students of the Islamic University of Chemical Education Kalimantan
(Uniska) Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari odd semester of the 2015/2016 academic year.This study
is a quasi-experimental research. Design used in this study is a pre-test and post-test design. Pretest
was used to determine the initial conditions of the creative abilities of students before being
given treatment of the application of cooperative learning model based Snowball Throwing
Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK). Post-test was used to determine the final conditions used
to determine the effect of applying the learning model based on a comparison of the results of the
Pre-test. Data was collected using questionnaire instrument of creative abilities of students.
Structured questionnaire to determine the various aspects of the creative abilities of students in
following the lecture. Through this research, the data showed that the average score questionnaire
for pretest creative abilities of students amounted to 84, while the average score questionnaire
creative ability of students to posttest amounted to 99.05. Hypothesis testing using techniques t
test showed t count equal to 0.0015 is greater than α so that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is
accepted or in other words it can be concluded that there is a positive effect of the application of
cooperative learning model based Snowball Throwing Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) on
the ability creative students.
