The research was conducted to reveal the relationship between emotional intelligence and work motivation of the work discipline of entire teachers of SMAN in Banjarmasin. This research was conducted using descriptive correlation with the intention of looking for a relationship variables describing emotional intelligence and moti-vation to work discipline of teachers. In this study, the entire population is a teacher at SMAN Banjarmasin numbering 533 people, while the samples taken with the proportional random sampling technique with a sample of 229 people. The data sampling procedure relying on questionnaires. The questionnaire later will be tested the validity with the technique of the Pearson product moment correlation, whereas in reality the testing using the Cronbach's alpha formula and the subsequently of the data were analyzed with analysis of the Pearson product moment correlation. The results showed that (1) emotional intelligence, work motivation of teachers, and the work discipline of entire teachers of SMAN in Banjarmasin have a high classification (2) there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and work discipline teachers (3) there is a positive and significant relationship between work motivation of teachers and teachers working discipline (4) there is a positive and significant relationship jointly between emotional intelligence and motivation of teachers to work discipline. Based on these results, it is suggested to the Principal, Department of Education and the teachers of SMAN in Banjarmasin to perform and follow the guidance or training to improve their work of discipline, that gives the spirit of the work motivation of teachers and in the end the teacher has a high working discipline that makes the teacher as a professional teacher and carry out their duties and responsibilities better.
