Composite of ZnO-SnO2 was prepared by solid state reaction method. ZnO and SnO2 (molar ratio 3:8) are crushed in ethanol until colloid formed and than heated for 12 hours at 160 oC (ZnO-SnO2 160) and 200 oC (ZnO-SnO2 200). ZnO-SnO2 160 and ZnO-SnO2 200 are homogen. Characteristic IR spectrum of ZnO-SnO2 160 show that ZnO is more dominant but ZnO-SnO2 200 show SnO2 is more dominant. Photocatalytic study of ZnO-SnO2 160 and ZnO-SnO2 200 in photodegradation of 20 mL MB 0,0125 mM under irradiation for 20 minutes shown percentage of degradation (ZnO-SnO2 160 = 88,00 % dan ZnO-SnO2 200 = 87,85 %) higher than ZnO (80,97 %), SnO2 (67,59 %), mixing ZnO and SnO2 (82,07 %), dan blank (59,17 %). Different of percent of degradation of 20 mL MB 0.0125 mM by ZnO-SnO2 dan ZnO are significant before irrradiation 10 minutes (ZnO-SnO2 160 = 79,31 % , ZnO-SnO2 200 = 77,93 %, da, ZnO = 60,16 %) but after 20 minutes tend equal. ZnO-SnO2 is reused shown percentage of degradation which not significantly different until 4 times used. Sun intensity is 0,8 x 1015 foton cm-2s-1. Quantum rendement of degragradation of ZnO-SnO2 160 dan ZnO-SnO2 200 rarely is 2,59 x 10-2 dan 2,58 x 10-2 molecule photon-1.
