This study aims to determine how the vocational school (SMK) 1 Palangkaraya foster a culture of discipline, hard work culture and the culture of competition to produce the school culture. The research method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data obtained from informants consisting of: the principal, several teachers, some students and parents. Excavations carried out by the technique of data: interviews, observation and documentation. The validity of the data obtained with the credibility and transferability by extending the observation/continuous observation (triangulation, peer debriefing, negative case analysis, references and membercheck). The results of this study are that: (1) SMK Negeri 1 Palangkaraya implement cultural disciplines, beginning with discipline in coming to school, discipline in the learning process, and disciplined in going home; (2) culture is also hard work invested in SMK Negeri 1 Palangkaraya with respect to time and use the time well; and, (3) competition culture imparted to the students by giving gifts to students who have achievements.
