This study aims to provide a descriptive overview of the capabilities of fourth semester students of the academic year 2011/2012 Department of Education Indonesia Language Literature and Regional STKIP PGRI Banjarmasin in use (1) temporal conjunctions, (2) opposition conjunctions, (3) justification conjunctive , (4) restrictions conjunctions, and (5) situation conjunctions. The method used in this research is descriptive method. By using this method, the data obtained in the form of symptoms skill level using conjunctions be described and processed using the statistics to obtain the percentage that will be used to summarize the results of the study. The population of this study were all students of fourth semester of the academic year 2011/2012 Department of Education Indonesia Language Literature and Regional STKIP PGRI Banjarmasin which 160 people. The large sample of 80 people; 50% of the population. Data collection was done by using the test; tests the ability to use conjunctions. The results of data analysis showed that the fourth semester students of academic year 2011/2012 Department of Education Indonesia Language Literature and Regional STKIP PGRI Banjarmasin (1) have a lack of ability to use temporal conjunctions, (2) have an excellent capability in the use of opposition conjunctions, (3) have less ability to use justification conjunctions, (4) have less ability to use the restriction conjunctions, and (5) have less ability to use situation conjunctions.
