Bougenville flower is one type of ornamental plants used to decorate fences, propagated in
the pergola, or fillers garden. The development of flower types Bougenville prospect of growing
each year, one of which is located in Sungai Kunjang sub-district, Samarinda City. This study aims
to prove the relationship influence the planting of flowers Bougenville the comfort and safety of
road users through the measurement of its perception .Based on the analysis, that the bougainvillea
plants that grow are in Bahu Loa sub-district, Loa Bakung sub-district and Karangasam Ulu subdistrict,
has a bougainvillea plant species of interest, with functions erosion control, sound control
and climate control. In the presence of flowering plants Bougenville contained in the roadside there
are weaknesses in the growth of overgrown plants with sharp thorns and branching as well as the
impact on road users through the streets of the scratches/cuts. So, for every homeowner or other
related agencies should at least know ornamental plants typical of ornamental plants to be treated
so that the function more useful utilization.
