The implementation of criminal sanctions in environmental law enforcement in Indonesia should be applied due to the impact and depending on the category of pollution or destruction that occurs whether the case can be applied the principle of ultimum remedium by placing a stettlement through criminal law as the last resort. However, based on the impact, the resolution of the pollution cases or environment destruction can apply the administration law, civil law and criminal law simultaneously.
