Terasi is traditional product which made from shrimp rebon (Acetes sp) as raw material. Shrimp caught at around coastal area of Bontang Kuala village, Bontang City. Processing method is very simple, used simple tools and lock of sanitation and hygienist, so that quality varies and safety of product was low. Aim of research was to know content of nutrient and heavy metals of terasi shrimp from processor at Bontang Kuala village. Samples collected from three processor and three replicates. All samples brought to laboratory for analyzed. Parameters analysis were proximate (water, protein, fat, ash and carbohydrate content/by different), Escherchia coli and heavy metals (Pb, Cd, Cu and Hg). The obtained data were used descriptive analysis. Result of research shown that water content range from 25,99-26,14%, protein 41,68-42,50%, fat 1,46-1,65%, ash 25,78-26,29 and carbohydrate (by different) 3,14-3,21%. E.coli negative and content of heavy metals not detected except Pb found under limit.
