The objective of this research is to know the Public Satisfaction Index (PSI) toward the public services quality provided by the sub district in Ban-jarmasin and to know the relationship among satisfaction level of society with the characteristics of the age, gender, education, and employment. The method used is a quantitative research approach and the research instrument is a ques-tionnaire that analyzed by using the Method of Public Satisfaction Index and Chi Square Test of Independence. The research results shows that the public Satisfaction Index toward the services quality in sub district of central Ban-jarmasin and east Banjarmasin is A category or The Service Unit Performance is very good category, while the sub district of south Banjarmasin includes B category or the Service Unit Performance category is good. In addition, there is not any relationship among the characteristics of gender, education, and level of work with public satisfaction in the three districts, while the characteristics of the age, there is not any relationship with the level of public satisfaction in sub district of central Banjarmasin, but in the sub district of south Banjarmasin and east Banjarmasin found the relationship between age and the level of satisfaction.
