Medicine information is a speciality within the pharmacy service that supports the safe, effective use of medicine by provision of evidence- based information and advice. The service provides all aspect of medicine use including dose and frequency of medicine, medicine storage, durations of therapy, drug indication, and adverse drug reactions. This research aim to know the description of medicine information service in the pharmacy of Bhakti Nugraha Hospital Samarinda. Interview was conducted with 80 outpatient. Analysis result indicated that medicine information service in pharmacy of Bhakti Nugraha Hospital was inadequate and did not meet the requirement of Kepmenkes RI No. 1027-/Menkes/SK/IX/2004.
