The purpose of study are: (1) Identify and project needs of the work force in the dimensions of quality, quantity, location and time in the field of coal mining, (2) Obtain a map needs of today's work force by sector workforce in the dimensions of quality, quantity, location and time, (3) Perform projection needs of the work force by sector in the four dimensions of quality, quantity, location and time, (4) Designing mapping instrument that can be used in updating the data and in the coming period, (5) Conduct an analysis of the real conditions on the working conditions in global demand by dimensions of quality, quantity, location and time, and (6) Provide recommendations for improvement as a demand conditions the alignment with the world of education. The samples taken PKP2B coal producer status and the status of KP are: PT Adaro Indonesia, PT Arutmin Indonesia, PT Jorong Barutama Grestone, PD Baramarta, PT Tanjung Alam jaya, PT Sumber Kurnia Buana, PT Antang Gunung Meratus, PT Kadya Caraka Mulya, PT Bangun Banua Persada Kalimantan, PT Bahari Cakrawala Sebuku, PT Kalimantan Energi Lestari dan PT Interex Sacra Raya dan PT Borneo Indobara. The results study is on the dimensions of quantity in general, the amount of labor in the coal company dominated by the operator, Supervisor and Manager. On the dimension of quality is seen that the level of satisfaction for Fully generally dominated by the level of managers and supervisors are educated Bachelor (S1 and S2), while for the level of many who are still Partly Operators and None. At the location dimension is seen that for the level of Manager and Supervisor generally still dominated by the school of origin outside the province of South Kalimantan while the operator level is dominated by graduates from schools in the city amounted to 81.58% and 9.85% of graduates in the province.
