This study aims to get the latest conditions of some important parameters on the people of tiger shrimp ponds in villages Tarjun at Subdistrict kelumpang Hilir district at Kotabaru. The method used was a survey method with 3 sets of observation stations purposively, is ponds in the front, pond in the middle and ponds in the and. Characteristics of water quality parameters measured were physics, chemistry and biology. The results showed that the water quality characteristics including excellent criterion (S-1) brightness parameters include water, water pH, NH3, H2S and abundance of plankton. Later that include both criteria (S-2) is a parameter of the water temperature, DO and tidal amplitude. However, the criteria for salinity are No Good (N).
