Area of Achmad Yani street KM 2 Banjarmasin formerly a residential and educational zones, but in line with increased economic growth, this region becomes one of trading locations, mainly Duta Mall Banjarmasin which is the largest shopping center in Banjarmasin cause attraction and resurrection people, goods and services increases. This causes changes in loading and increased traffic movements. The imbalance between the traffic demand and the traffic supply on the road so that impede the smooth traffic flow, reduce traffic speeds, causing traffic delays can be very dangerous even for road users themselves.
To conduct a comprehensive traffic management to overcome this problem, first necessary to know the characteristic behavior of the traffic characteristics such as flow, speed and density. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to analyze the relationship models between the characteristics of the flow (F), speed (S), and density (I) of traffic. The primary data survey was conducted during 14 hours of observation on the 8:00 to 22:00 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Analysis of data by using Microsoft Exel software Spreedsheet. The approach used mathematical model is a Greenshield, Greenberg and Underwood models. From the analysis, it appears that the models corresponding relationship to the street in front of the Duta Mall Banjarmasin is a Greenshield model with the model equation F = for the relationship between flow and speed (F-S), F = for the relationship between flow and density (F-D), and S = for relationship between speed and density (S-D).
