The research objective was to determine the effect of chicken manure and POC Nasa and their interaction on the growth of Vanilla plant cuttings. The research carried out for four months, from May to August 2012 in the SPP/ SPMA Nursery Area, Samarinda. It used completely randomized design with 4 x 4 factorial analysis and repeated 3 times. The first factor was the dose of chicken manure (K) consists of: no chicken manure application (k0), 100 g-1 polybag (k1), 200 g-1 polybag (k2), and 300 g-1 polybag (k3). The second factor was Nasa POC concentration (N) consists of four levels, namely: no POC Nasa application (n0), 1 ml-1 water (n1), 2 ml-1 water (n2), and 3 ml-1 water (n3). Implementation of research activities includes several stages, namely: (1) preparation of growing media, (2) preparation of vanilla cuttings material, (3) preparation of climbing cuttings, (4) planting cuttings, (5) making shade, (6) doing treatment, ( 7) plant maintenance: weeding, replanting, pest and disease control, (8) data collection, (9) and data analysis (10) report writing. The data collected in this study, as follows: (1) length of shoots at 30, 60, and 90 days after planting (cm), (2) the number of leaves at 30, 60, and 90 days after planting , (3) shoots diameter at 30, 60, and 90 days after planting (mm), (4) number of node at 90 days after planting, and (5) length of roots at 90 days after planting (cm). Analysis of the data using analysis of variance, if there is an influence on the variance, the LSD test at 5% level was attempted. The results showed that: (1) the effect of chicken manure is significantly different on the shoot length, number of leaves, shoots diameter at 30, 60, and 90 days after planting, number of node and root length at 90 days after planting; (2) the influence of Nasa liquid organic fertilizer is highly significant on the shoot length at 30 and 60 days after planting, number of leaves at 30, 60, and 90 days after planting, shoot diameter at 30 and 60 days after planting, number of node and root length at 90 days after planting, (3) the interaction between them is highly significant on the shoot length and shoots diameter at 30, 60, and 90 days after planting, but it does not affect significantly on number of leaves at 30, 60, and 90 days after planting, number of node and length of roots at 90 days after planting, (4) chicken manure by 30 g polibag-1 and POC Nasa 3 ml l-1 water produces the best vanilla cuttings growth.
