The research aimed to identify the growing of Hilocereus costaricensis on the cuttings size and application of Excellent Plant Hormone Multiguna Exclusive, as well as its interaction, and to find the proper dosage of Excellent Plant Hormone Multiguna Exclusive for Hilocereus costaricensis.The research lasted for four months, from September to December 2011, at the screen house Agriculture Faculty Widya Gama Mahakam University Village of Sempaja Samarinda City. The research employed Completely Randomized Design with Factorial analysis 3 x 4 and three replications. The first factor was cuttings size (U): cuttings size at 15 cm (u1); cuttings size at 20 cm (u2); cuttings size at 25 cm (u3). And the second factor was Excellent Plant Hormone Multiguna Exclusive (H): no plant hormone (h0); plant hormone 1 ml/litre water (h1); plant hormone 2 ml/litre water (h2); plant hormone 3 ml/litre water (h3).Results showed that: (1) significant responses the cuttings size on the parameters of emergence time of bud, height bud at the stage of 30, 60 and 90 old days, number of bud at the stage of 30, 60 and 90 old days; (2) significant responses on the application of excellent plant hormone multiguna exclusive on the parameters of emergence time of bud, height bud at the stage of 30, 60 and 90 old days, number of bud at the stage of 30, 60 and 90 old days; (3) significant responses the interaction between the cuttings size and excellent plant hormone multiguna exclusive on the parameters of height bud at the stage of 30, 60 and 90 old days, number of bud at the stage of 30, 60 and 90 old days.
