This study aims to obtain overview the sex ratio, level gonada maturity and fecundity populations seluang fish in sungai batang waters. while contributions of the result this study, are expected to be useful as materials informations to equilibrium maintains fish population in the waters, in addition to it also can be used as supporting data in considerations of fish cultivations in question. Seluang fish populations caught in the waters of sungai batang, of 142 samples there were caught 72 manly and 70 tail fish female. average sex ratio of 109.05%, gonad level maturity that is within 2 month period is I until VIII,and fish the reproduce Gonad level maturity V as big as 16.9% and VI 9,2%. From the analysis fecundity seluang fish in sungai batang waters ranged between 15000 - 81400 grains. at a certain age groups of fish populations seluang are at gonad level maturity IV,V and VI will spawn every month. peak spawning season during the study occured the beginning of January
