Indonesia’s forest is damage and getting worst nowadays. Defoliations are everywhere, dryness during the dry season, barren land, and global warming. During the rainy season, there are floods and erosions. The equilibrium of environment ecosystem isn’t sufficient anymore because of forest conversion and coal mining. This kind of situation due to the opportunity given by the government to the investors to do their business in forest area without considering the regulation. The government’s control also doesn’t work properly so that the forest resources is decreasing more and more. The priority of our government is the revenue or income from resources found in the forest and not for the preservation to maintain the equilibrium of environment ecosystem. Forest authorization which is belong to the indigenous community should be empowered with their culture, but in fact it’s being ignored.
