Rice is the main food commodities that dominate the life of most nations in Asia, especially Indonesia. Perum BULOG care of the marketing function of food. During the past five years the procurement process is not occurs of target prognosis and its realization is not always a hundred percent each year while South Kalimantan is one of the mainstay of the national rice area, where every year the production of paddy (rice) continues to increase. This study aims to determine Divre Kalsel Bulog management in the procurement and distribution of rice over by directing the implementation of the management functions associated with procurement and distribution of rice. Management of procurement of rice in South Kalimantan Bulog Divre run in accordance rules and working procedures of implementation based on the working procedures of Bulog pusat, but Bulog Management should further intensify Divre Kalsel internal controls in the procurement and distribution of rice as well as provide space for people to play a role in the problem procurement and distribution of this and the authority of the central Bulog given to Bulog Kalimantan to carry out the procurement and distribution in the region where the central Bulog only to supervise the activities.
