With the increasing development continuously that utilizing natural resources such as forests, mining and other development in increasing national income and revenue, would also lead to increased environmental impacts that have received less attention by all parties. It is inevitable that increased development would contain the risk of environmental damage and pollution. Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is an assessment of the significant impacts of a and`/or activities that are planned for development activities to be carried out no problems or damage to the environment is very big in the future. Besides, the EIA is a government document in the process of making decisions/appropriateness of the policy development activities were carried out. The results showed that the EIA is only done to the activities of private companies only, while the government's development activities are expected to cause significant impacts, and the reasons have not been implemented, and the public needs urgent time and funds for the EIA document is not available in the project. While the process of assessment and the EIA document creation takes 2 (two) to 3 (three) years. In this case the government must address planning and development activities in gradually by providing adequate funding for EIA document creation process. So the implementation of the development does not pose a great risk of environmental damage in the future.
