In the society, violations of law that involves human body and life are often happen. In order to examine, investigate, and solve this law issue in a higher level until it can finally be solved in the court, helps from many different experts from their respective fields are needed. Their helps are useful to make the course of events in an incident as clear as possible, as well as the connection between all actions in that incident. For instance, a medical expert is needed to give an explanation to all parties that are dealing with the case. Those explanations are written on a report that is called visum et repertum. From the research result, it is known that victim’s family often preclude the visum et repertum, and apparently that is caused by 2 factors, which are: (1) family or public do not understand about the importance of a visum et repertum; and (2) family or public do not allow a surgery of the victim’s body. They want that nothing will be done to the victim’s body. To address this issue, counseling sessions and detailed explanations are then needed to inform the public, especially the victim’s family, so that there will be no obstacles nor a permission rejection issue from the family regarding the visum. All this time, the counseling session about the importance of visum examination was rarely done. It has not even been done at all. As the result, lots of people do not know about the important meaning of a visum et repertum.
